Greg Blackwood, Chairman and CEO - Vantage Holdings Ltd. Mr. Blackwood brings 14 years of successful experience founding, investing in, managing and selling businesses in Asia and Europe. During his 10 years in Asia he has lived and worked in Mainland China, Japan and Singapore; and prior to that in France and the USA. From 1993-1997 Mr. Blackwood worked in Atlanta, Georgia at a division of JP Morgan as an investment analyst, evaluating and directing investments in more than 500 listed businesses during that time. From 1999-2000 Mr. Blackwood co-founded an investment advisory firm in France, advising European institutional and private investors on technology-related investments. In 2000 he relocated to Singapore to found a company in the wireless networking space, which was acquired in 2002.  From 2003-2006 Mr. Blackwood lived in Tokyo, Japan where he worked as a consultant in mergers and acquisitions, first for UPS (NYSE: UPS) acquiring their two joint ventures in small package and freight forwarding; and then for DEX (Tokyo Mothers: 4794) acquiring China-based mobile content providers and integrating them into DEX's existing business.  Mr. Blackwood is currently based in Beijing and is the Chairman and CEO of Vantage Holdings Limited, an investment holding company that provides financing and management expertise to Chinese companies. He is also the current Chairman of the SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) Forum of the American Chamber of Commerce in China; and co-authors the annual American Chamber White Paper, a policy document referenced by Washington and Beijing that forms an important basis for US-China intergovernmental discussions.  Mr. Blackwood graduated from Stanford University (BA 1993) and INSEAD (MBA 1999). Mr. Blackwood is a sought-after speaker on the topic of economic ecosystem development, and has published several business cases that are taught at INSEAD and other international MBA programs. Mr. Blackwood is fluent in English, Japanese, and French; and speaks, reads and writes Mandarin Chinese at an intermediate level. He is a Harvard National Scholar and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute. 
Felicia Choy, Vice President and Co-Founder - Choy-Valentine Choy Valentine is a Senior Executive Development company specializing in developing senior executives in multinational corporations.  Ms. Choy has over 25 years of international management experience including a very successful 19 year career with Hewlett Packard. She was the former Asia Pacific General Manager of a business unit which includes Japan, Korea, Australia, South East Asia and Greater China.  Felicia has proven track record of creating new businesses, developing new markets, improving productivity and profit and building great teams. She has extensive experience in developing senior executives in a cross cultural environment from Asia, Europe and the US.  Ms. Choy was previously the Chief Operating Officer of the Armarda Group a Chinese IT and Professional Services Company in China which she helped bring it to be listed in Singapore.  Felicia has been a featured speaker in many professional conferences around the world such as Germany, France, UK, US, Korea, Philippines and Indonesia. She is currently an Overseas Advisor to Youth Business China a non profit organization dedicated to helping young people establish new businesses in China. Felicia is a graduate of the University of California Berkeley. Having lived in 3 countries: US, Singapore and Hong Kong, she is multilingual with fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.   
Wilbur Zou, Consulting Director – BDA Mr. Zou has responsibility for leading BDA’s consulting practice.  Wilbur has extensive consulting experience in the telecom sector. Clients he has served include major China telecom service operators such as China Telecom and China Mobile. Wilbur has conducted projects covering corporate strategy, marketing strategy, business process reengineering, call centre management, and sales force management. Wilbur joined BDA in 2004. He has led numerous projects providing consulting services for foreign corporate and financial investors. The type of projects included market entry, growth strategy and investment due diligence, etc. The sectors of the projects cover telecom, media, technology, education and alternative energy, etc.  Prior to joining BDA in 2004, Wilbur was a strategy consultant for Accenture’s telecom division. Wilbur also worked as an investment banker for Salomon Smith Barney, the investment banking arm of Citi Group, in New York City. In addition to his professional service career, he has worked in a marketing and sales capacity for multinational industrial companies such as BHP Billiton and Itochu Corporation. Wilbur’s hobbies include music and sports. He is an amateur jazz drum player. He plays tennis, badminton and golf.   Wilbur received his MBA degree from Kellogg Graduate School of Business in the United States, and his B.Sc degree from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. 
Ron Nechemia, Chairman of the Board – EuroOrient  Mr. Ron Nechemia is a founding member of the EurOrient Financial Group and its various affiliate development financial institutions.  EurOrient Financial Group is a private sector global development finance institution accredited by the United Nations General Assembly on Financing for Development. Its mission is to mobilize financial, technical and human resources for the benefit of developing nations seeking sustainable economic development and poverty reduction.  Mr. Nechemia serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Operation Officer of EurOrient Financial Group, with the overall responsibility for the bankwide operations. Michael Wester, General Manager - True Run Media A native of Boston, Michael Wester has spent 13 of the past 17 years in greater China (six years in Taipei and seven years in Beijing). He studied journalism and Mandarin Chinese at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has an MBA from Babson College. Since 2001 he has been the General Manager of Beijing-based True Run Media, a locally registered company that partners with Chinese publishing houses to produce magazines, books, maps and websites geared towards English-speaking residents and visitors to Beijing. Among True Run’s brand portfolio are the Immersion Guides series of Beijing guidebooks; the city's largest English-language arts and entertainment monthly, that's Beijing (circulation 44,000); the family-oriented monthly tbjkids; and the upscale urban living magazine tbjhome. Over the course of its six-year history True Run Media has worked closely with China’s hospitality industries, particularly the hotels, restaurants and bars that are our advertisers and distributors as well as the subjects of many of our articles. In six years True Run has grown from a staff of 14 to now over 70 and has averaged a year-on-year revenue growth rate of 44%. 
David M Jacobson, Managing Director - SinoFile Information Services, Ltd. David was born in Trinidad, West Indies and has spent a large proportion of his life wondering the globe. Besides Trinidad, David has also lived in Canada, Wisconsin, Louisiana, Missouri, and Illinois, besides a spell in Saudi Arabia and Jordan. He received an M.A. in the ancient history of the Middle East, before doing a doctoral program at the University of Chicago in linguistics and pre-Islamic Arabian languages. After serving as Vice Director of the America research center ACOR in Jordan for two years, he moved to China in 1986. This has been his home ever since. For the first four years in China, David was Associate Professor in Northeast Normal University, Changchun, China. In 1991 he and his wife, Dr. Yang Zhi, returned to Beijing and in 1992 established a two-person operation that monitored the Chinese press for foreign clients. As the first of its kind in China, SinoFile led the way in prying open the media monitoring business in the country, having taken all the chances one could take in covering such a touchy field as the media in China. SinoFile has grown from its initial "mom and pop" service into a multifunctional, multilingual media monitoring establishment that employs 100 people and has offices in the primary first-tier cities of China. Besides the press, SinoFile covers about 50,000 Web articles on a daily basis, and also reviews all the major TV channels in the country. SinoFile now offers dedicated Web portals for its clients and a host of report options that provide MNCs and Chinese firms a window on the myriad of information published in China on a daily basis. In the course of his fifteen years pushing the boundaries of media monitoring in China, David has encountered just about every obstacle one could meet in expanding an SME in China. At the same time, with the continued expansion of China's economy, and with its place in the global market, David believes that prospects for the company are better than ever. 
Jeremy Goldkorn, Editor of Danwei.org - Co-founder of Standards Group Jeremy Goldkorn is best known as the founder and video show host of Danwei.org, an influential website about media and advertising in China. Mr. Goldkorn moved to China in 1995 to work in the training department of European engineering giant ABB, before riding a bicycle across Xinjiang and Tibet. After his return, he worked as managing editor for groundbreaking entertainment magazine Beijing Scene, and as creative director for a Phoenix TV Internet division. He founded and launched the magazine that became TimeOut / LE, and acted as editor-in-chief for the launch of RedEgg and that's Beijing magazines. In 2002 he co-founded of the boutique design and  advertising agency Standards Group. He started Danwei.org as a blog in 2003 and is currently growing the website into a multimedia information resource about China that is unmatched on the Internet in scope, tone and depth.  He is frequently profiled in the Chinese media, while western news organizations like The Wall Street Journal regularly solicit his views on media regulation, internet business, marketing, youth culture and the habits of young Chinese internet users. He has started, managed and worked in wholly foreign owned enterprises, joint ventures, and Chinese-owned companies in a variety of sensitive industries that require close cooperation with state entities. He is co-chair of the Media & Entertainment Forum of the American Chamber of Commerce in Beijing. Goldkorn is a regular public speaker at both Chinese- and English language conferences and events.   
David Wood, President & Senior Partner – The ChinaCare Group David Wood has served for 30 years in senior level management positions in the healthcare field, both in the United States and internationally.   Mr. Wood’s professional experience includes periods of tenure as Assistant Director of the 485-bed University of California, San Diego, Medical Center, and Chief Financial Officer and later, Director of Hospital Operations, of the 650-bed University Hospitals of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Executive Vice President of the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Research Center and Managing Partner of the Health Science Partnership, a healthcare consulting firm.  Internationally, Mr. Wood also served as Director of the Shaukat Khanum Hospital and Cancer Center in Lahore, Pakistan and President and General Manager of United Family Hospitals in China.   United Family Hospitals consists of Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics, the only foreign-owned international hospital in China and Shanghai United Family Hospital and Clinics in Shanghai. Under a management contract with the New Century International Children’s Hospital, Mr. Wood served as the facility’s Chief Executive Officer, a role in which he was the only foreigner serving as President of a Chinese hospital.  Mr. Wood holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Public Health Administration degree from California State University. He also served as Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Graduate Program in Healthcare Administration and Associate Professor at Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado in the undergraduate program in healthcare administration. Mr. Wood has held leadership positions in a number of professional organizations including the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the California Hospital Association and the Colorado Hospital Association and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.  Mr. Wood serves on Harvard Medical International’s China Advisory Board and Nations Healthcareer’s Scientific Council.  Mr. Wood has also invented medical equipment items for which he holds two United States patents. 
Ben Wang, President & CEO—Beyondsoft Group Mr. Ben Wang has over dozen years of experience in the IT industry, and has led Beyondsoft since its inception. Established in 1995, Beyondsoft is an end-to-end software engineering service provider in China and provides professional services covering the entire software R&D process, including development, testing, and localization. Mr. Wang has graduated from Computer Science and Engineering InstituteBeijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics on July, 1992, and completed CEIBS EXECUTIVE MBA PROGRAMME and was awarded the degree of Master of Business Administration in 2004. Mr. Wang served as Member of the China Science and Finance Productivity Center, Deputy Director of Beijing Software Industry Community, and Executive member of Haidian Business Association.  Mr. Wang also received awards such as:      The Excellent Young Entrepreneur of Haidian District     Excellent member of China Communist Party     The Outstanding Youth of China Software Industry 
Deepa Swaminathan, Vice President, China - The Hoffman Agency Deepa heads up The Hoffman Agency’s China practice, overseeing offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, and is responsible for its overall growth, development and profitability. Simon Wei, Vice President - ChinaOK Network and Technology Ltd. Simon Wei is an excellent example of the new generation of Chinese business leaders and entrepreneurs. After graduation from Tongji University and the Chinese Academy of Science with a Master of Science degree, Simon moved to New Zealand where he worked for Trike Technologies gaining experience in networking and e-commerce.  While at Trike, Mr. Wei developed a joint venture with a Chinese Education authority.  This experience gave him a taste of entrepreneurship.  Mr. Wei completed his MBA at Canterbury University before returning to China in 2005 to join ChinaOK network and Technology. At ChinaOK Simon has developed the company’s ecommerce business.  His current clients include FAW Toyota Motor, MSN China, Motorola China, Beijing Morgan Investment Co., Ltd., Huatai Automobile Group, United Win Group, Huayi Brothers among others.  Simon has also partnered with OgilvyOne China, DELPHYS HAKUHODO (BEIJING). Simon is a self confessed IT enthusiast and an inveterate blogger. 
Hersey Cao, President and CEO – AcrossChina Communications Group As the President and CEO of one of China’s top event management and marketing companies, AcrossChina Communications group’s Hersey Cao is widely recognized as one of China’s leading brand professionals. Ms. Cao’s passion and enthusiasm for marketing and communications started at California State University where she graduated with a degree in communications. On returning to China she became Chief Representative of AWA Group Pty one of Australia’s leading high technology solution suppliers.  Here she gained valuable business development experience as well as knowledge of the working practices of an international and multicultural company.  Returning to California in 2000 to gain her EMBA, Hersey Cao joined AcrossChina Communications Group in 2002 as President and CEO. Under Ms Cao’s leadership, AcrossChina Communications have gone from strength to strength and the company’s clients include many of the brands of the global 500 companies. Kirvan Henry Pierson III, Principal – XLOCATE Ltd. Kirvan Pierson operates a small consulting and advisory firm in China, working with large international and China IT companies, and managing a number of China investments, from resort property to software to consumer goods. Mr. Kirvan is a principal at Beijing consulting firm XLOCATE Ltd, providing advice on regulatory and structuring, assisting with investment, distribution, and import/export, and conducting business development activities, primarily in China and North Asia, primarily for products and services related to software IT and web/wireless services. Mr. Kirvan's industry background is primarily telecom, transportation logistics, and navigation/mapping systems.  He has held consulting and management positions in the information technology sector for twenty years, ranging from systems engineering and software product development to product management and international business.  In recent years, Kirvan has been retained by global leader NAVTEQ on new business strategy.  Prior to that, he worked in business and product areas with software vendor MapInfo Corporation, in software with United Parcel Service, and in systems with a unit of British Aerospace.  Kirvan has managed and consulted in North Asia territories since 1998, and since 2003 has been based in Beijing.  Kirvan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia. 
John O. Hjelset, Executive Director - Norse Dragon Co Ltd, Hong Kong Having lived & worked in China continuously since 1982, over the past 3 years Mr. John Hjelset has been active as a self employed business consultant mainly towards North European SMEs in China, working through his Norse Dragon Co Ltd in Hong Kong - a company he founded in 1985. During his initial 3 years in China, Mr. Hjelset held the position as President of the first Norwegian JV in China and CNOOC's first ever JV in the offshore oil services industry, the China-GECO Geophysical Co.  Mr. Hjelset subsequently became the Chief Representative in China of Den norske Bank / DnB NOR Bank in Beijing during 1985-2004.  He was the founding Chairman of the Norwegian Business Forum in Beijing in 2005, a position he held until last spring. Educated in Norway, John graduated from the Bergen Technical College in 1972 in Machinery Design & Industrial Engineering.  He also holds a degree from the Bergen Business College in Corporate Finance.  During 1974-1982, John worked in senior executive positions in Norway within the heavy ship machinery industry, covering the Central & East European - and Asian ship building markets. In his current position as a business consultant, John focuses on the current new opportunities & challenges primarily caused by China's relatively recent full accession to the WTO and the globalization of businesses: profitability, growth, competitiveness, compliance and due diligence of projects & partners. 
Priscilla Ho, Founder and Managing Director - Prescient Marketing Ltd.  Ms. Priscilla Ho has worked in China for over 15 years, serving as a marketing professional in the advertising, communication, branding and sports sponsorship industries.  Ms. Ho has extensive sales and marketing experience as well as China and international experience.   In the beginning of her career, Ms. Ho acquired strong branding, communication and research skills by working at Leo Burnett China.  She was primarily responsible for the global major accounts of P&G and Cadbury.  In addition to this, Ms. Ho worked for a global IT company in an Asia Pacific marketing role, and successfully launched services in the Philippines, Taiwan, China, Singapore and Hong Kong.  Ms. Ho also worked for one of the world’s top global sports event marketing companies - ISL.  ISL is a Swiss-based sports marketing agency exclusively marketing the Olympic Games, the World Cup, the Euro Cup and the Asian Games.  At ISL, Ms. Ho successfully developed the first national team sponsorship program with the ISL China team, Team China (a soccer team marketing program), and achieved the company’s highest sales record for this and other programs.   Prescient was founded in 2004.  After 4 years, Prescient has become one of the top sports marketing agencies in China.  The Prescient team has achieved outstanding results including the following: ·Being an exclusive sport marketing agency for two Olympic Stadiums – National Stadium and National Aquatic Centre·The only agency to sign three top sponsors for three top listed Chinese gold medals teams – Badminton, Diving/Swimming and Weightlifting·The first agency to introduce global Chinese companies to sports sponsorship – BenQ & Euro 2004; Lenovo & Olympic TOP VI Ms. Ho holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business (Marketing) from Australia’s RMIT University.  Priscilla was one of the few Asian students selected for this marketing program in 1990.  She has presented at numerous conferences and has been interviewed extensively regarding sports marketing in China. 
David J. Roberts, Managing Director – Kroznot Kroznot combines the creativity of great visual artists with the ingenuity of great computer programmers to provide a wide array of intelligent, digital media services in today’s changing landscape of corporate promotional material. The company’s primary services include interactive advertising, multimedia presentations, animation, video production, visual effects, web development, and corporate imaging. The company is now in its second year of operations in Beijing. In college, Mr. Roberts studied computer aided design and computer networking.  His first goal upon leaving college was to learn two of the world’s most widely spoken languages. David’s interest in foreign languages and cultures first took him to Mexico where he studied Spanish, chess, and video production.  He then moved to China where he continues to study Chinese, animation, sales and management.  He has a strong interest in corporate social responsibility and is active in promoting ideas for doing business that can be beneficial to the community while also keeping an eye on profitability.  Most recently, David has been heavily involved in the production of two cartoon series as well as writing for a TV sitcom. He has directed several music videos and is in the process of writing a screenplay based loosely on his own travels in Mexico.  David is fascinated with information technology, especially the internet and the many ways it can be applied both to business and social environments.  In 2004 David married Jenny Liu.  Together they have worked to create the digital media production company Kroznot. David is in charge of sales and project management while Jenny handles human resources and book keeping. They have an 18 month old son name Oliver. 

Robert Hayes, Managing Director of Asia-Pacific – Glu Mobile With deep financing, business development, and corporate governance experience, Mr. Robert Hayes oversees Glu’s operations throughout Asia. Mr. Hayes joined Glu Mobile from Sienna Ventures where he was integral in the deal that secured venture financing in Glu and actively managed the firm's investment in the company.  Also while at Sienna Ventures, Mr. Hayes held director and observer positions with the boards of directors for Asset International, M7 Networks and Newport Opticom.  Mr. Hayes has been focused on private equity and venture capital within the wireless communications industry since 1999 and has held posts at Beneventure Capital and SigmaBleyzer where he identified and managed investments for SigmaBleyzer's cable, wireless communications, information technology, commercial airline, and food industries.  Robert has a B.A. in political science from the University of California, San Diego and earned his Master of Business Administration in International Management from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management.
